Teca & Zico - A day at the beach is an animated Children's Story that is sure to captivate your child's interest and imagination through the magic of interactivity. Kids will learn, increase their reading skills and vocabulary in both English and Portuguese, while having fun, as they explore the pages and episodes of Teca and Zico. Each CD-ROM contains 10 scenes of narrated story plus 10 educational pages. In this story, Teca & Zico spend a day at the beach with their uncle Paul. Each scene is filled with unusual adventures, situations and characters & animals that come to life through movement, song dance and dialogue in a totally interactive enviroment. Each Scene is loaded with animation, sound effects and original music. The element of suspense & humour will bring out the curiosity and laughter of any child. It is so simple to use, kids just point and click the on objects & characters in an continual search for hidden animation. They can replay their favourite parts as often as they wish, go forward, backward along the story, or go directly to the educational pages and then back to the story. They can change from English to Portuguese and vice-versa at any point in the story. They are in complete control as they proceed at their own pace. In the educational pages, kids are presented with elementary language elements, words, hidden phrases and sentences, with fill in the blacks in both English and Portuguese. By simply clicking, elements are highlighted and read aloud in and clear, concise voice, giving the child an opportunity to learn the meaning and equivilence of words and sentences from one language to the other, while hearing its pronounciation.
